Bravo Star Brittany Cartwright Files for Divorce from Jax Taylor, Six Months After Separation
Brittany Cartwright is officially ending her marriage to Jax Taylor, six months after they initially announced their separation.
The former couple previously starred on Vanderpump Rules together and now are both appearing on the Bravo spin-off series The Valley. They got married in 2019 and share a son named Cruz, born in April 2021.
Brittany and Jax announced their separation back in February through a message on their joint podcast. She filed the divorce papers in court on Tuesday, August 27.

TMZ reports that Brittany cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup and their date of separation was listed as January 24, 2024.
Brittany is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their son Cruz and is willing to let Jax have visitation rights. She is trying to block spousal support for either party.
The divorce news comes one week after Jax decided to leave in-patient treatment, where he was working on his mental health.
