The railway ministry has renamed eight railway stations in Amethi district following a proposal by former MP Smriti Irani. The new names include Jais City, Guru Gorakhnath Dham, and Maa Kalikan Dham. The changes were delayed due to the Lok Sabha elections and have now been officially notified.
