Love Island’s Sammy Root’s new romance with Towie cast member revealed – after he joins ITVBe show
LOVE Island’s Sammy Root has struck up a new romance with a fellow Towie beauty.
Sammy, 23, was pictured filming with the cast last month and looked like he’d got off to a flirty start with fellow singleton Elma Pazar, 31.
But Towie favourite Elma has now shut down romance rumours with Sammy and said he’s got eyes for another co-star.
The Sun can reveal that Sammy has “grown close” to lash technician Livvy Jay since joining the series last month.
The reality star is said to have wooed the brunette businessowner on a number of dates that will see play out on the ITVBe show.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Elma said: ” “Sammy is getting close to Livvy, she’s new and so is he.
“He’s getting close to her. I’ve known Sammy for a little while, I’ve met him on a few occasions and he’s a lovely boy.”
She laughed: “But he’s not interested in me, he doesn’t love me.”
A source also added that Sammy and Livvy have been dating.
They said: “Sammy took an instant liking to Livvy, she’s his type and he fancies her.
“They got on really well and have been getting to know each other.
“They seem to have a lot of chemistry and they make a good couple.”
Sammy is set to shake-up the show as he looks for a new girlfriend following his split from his Love Island ex Jess Harding.
The reality star broke up with his Love Island girlfriend Jess Harding, 23, just three months after winning the 2023 series.
Jess told Sammy their relationship was over by phone – before news of their split leaked online while she was partying in Ibiza with pals last year.
Despite not managing to stay friends, Sammy told us: “Don’t get me wrong, if I saw her I’d probably say hello but out of respect I’m not going to be talking to her when she’s got a boyfriend.
“I haven’t got a reason to.
“We don’t ever talk but I wish her the best.”
Jess revealed she had a new boyfriend last month – and has now gushed how she is “so in love.”
She then showcased his identity on Instagram with a sweet snap showing him kissing her.
Meanwhile, Sammy has been spotted getting close to Love Island’s Sammy Kenny while keeping busy starting his own events business and signing up to Towie.
He told us: “I’ve teamed up with one of my friends and I’m starting an event, a house and RnB event.
“We should have our first event in Essex somewhere at the end of June, we haven’t released a date yet but I’m excited for that.”
As a local Essex boy, Sammy is also close friends with cast member Roman Hackett, making his arrival on the ITVBe show an obvious one.
While Livvy was introduced last series as Sophie Kasaei‘s lash technician, alongside best mate Becks Bloomberg.
