Saints acquire DT John Ridgeway from Commanders

The New Orleans Saints acquired defensive tackle John Ridgeway III from the Washington Commanders in a trade Wednesday. As part of the deal, the Commanders included a 2025 seventh-round pick, receiving a 2025 sixth-round pick in exchange.

A former fifth-round draft selection by the Dallas Cowboys in 2022, Ridgeway has seen action in a total of 32 games with six starts over two s
