Two teens arrested for theft in Paphos
Police in Paphos have arrested two boys, aged 14 and 16, to facilitate investigations into a case of theft.
Paphos police said a 41-year-old permanent resident of Cyprus reported that on July 29 at around 8am her credit card and a small amount of cash had been stolen from her car.
The woman parked her car in the coastal area of Chloraka and on return had found the door open and the items missing.
She had reported the incident on July 30.
Her credit card had later been used in three different shops for small amounts.
Police investigations led to a testimony against two people, aged 14 and 16, who were found on Wednesday and arrested.
When questioned, the two boys admitted the crime and were charged and released to be summoned later.
