Happy Valley and Sex Education stars team up for brand new Netflix psychological thriller
NETFLIX has announced a brand new psychological thriller series that promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
The six-part drama comes from the creative mind of Julie Gearey, known for her work on Intergalactic.
Netflix has announced a new psychological thriller[/caption] Molly Windsor is set to star as his traditional religious wife[/caption]The series boasts an impressive cast, including Molly Windsor, famous for her role in Happy Valley, and Asa Butterfield from the hit show Sex Education.
They will also be joined by acting heavyweights Christopher Eccleston, Siobhan Finneran, and Fra Free.
Out of the Dust is set within a fictional conservative religious sect.
It follows the story of Rosie, a wife and mother played by Molly Windsor.
Her life takes a dramatic turn after she has a run in with Sam, an escaped convict.
Their encounter sets Rosie on a dangerous journey of self-discovery, which challenges the rigid beliefs she has been raised with.
The new shift in her mindset also threatens the stability of her marriage to Adam (Asa Butterfield).
As Rosie starts to question the motives of her community, Sam emerges as a possible saviour.
However, his dark past raises the question of whether Rosie’s biggest threat lies within her restrictive religious environment or with the mysterious outsider.
Filming for the series is already underway in the UK, and Netflix bosses are excited to welcome this new addition to their lineup.
The release date for Out of the Dust is currently unknown.
