What’s the problem/warning about buying resale?
I don't have a problem with it if people genuinely intended to go and then can't. Returning tickets to the club is a pain apart from anything else.
There is a possibility that the club will crack down on it at some point during the season. Anyone who can be identified as selling tickets on Twitter or Facebook could get their membership suspended.
So a little discretion is advised.
It was suggested we might do what Ipswich do which is sell some tickets but demand they are collected at the away game in person with ID.
I think every away ticket system has flaws, I use resales for the popular ones if I can. Collecting at the away ground every game would be a right faff, and with the current status of the ticket office I think returning them would be a headache. There’s probably a few tweaks they could make to make it a bit fairer, but it’s alright overall imo.
