Club ‘Will Not Be Signing’ Newcastle United Star

Newcastle United look unlikely to bring in funds by offloading a winger before the window closes as the club chasing him ‘will not be signing’ him, according to the Daily Mail.

The Magpies are seeing their transfer plans hit the buffers as the end of the window approaches.

Centre-back target Marc Guehi now looks unlikely to make the move to St James’ Park, while signing a winger also appears off the agenda.

Landing another winger could have been helped by selling Miguel Almiron and it has been suggested that a move to Fulham was in the pipeline.

However, Fulham ‘will not be signing’ Almiron from Newcastle.

The Paraguay attacker looks set to stay put at Newcastle unless there is an offer from elsewhere.

He has had interest from Saudi Arabia and the window in the Saudi Pro League is open until 2nd September.

Selling after Friday though would not help Newcastle in terms of making funds available to do deals now.
