Deputies: Albany man arrested for drugs after traffic stop
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of an Albany man following a traffic stop. Alexander Lux-Maggio, 38, faces drug charges.
Charges
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Two counts of second-degree criminally using paraphernalia
The Sheriff's Office says deputies conducted a traffic stop near Sherman Street and North Lake Avenue on Wednesday around 2:40 p.m. for a traffic violation. Deputies reported finding the passenger, Lux-Maggio, with over 3.5 grams of methamphetamine accompanied by a digital scale and plastic vials commonly used for individual sales of narcotics.
Lux-Maggio was transported to Albany County Correctional Facility and will be arraigned on Thursday.
