Boil water order in Rotterdam lifted

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady County Department of Environmental Health announced the boil water order in Rotterdam was lifted as of 9 a.m. on Thursday. The order was put in place after a water main break on Monday.

The affected areas were Curry Road between Altamont Avenue and Duglin Avenue and all of Duglin Avenue. As a precaution, residents should flush all water lines in their homes for at least five minutes prior to use.
