Justin Theroux Got Engaged on His Work Trip

Noted Manhattan cyclist Justin Theroux is over in Italy mixing business with pleasure. The actor is currently at the Venice International Film Festival as part of the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast and took some time out of his busy schedule to get engaged before hitting the red carpet. Who says you can’t have fun on a work trip?

Theroux’s fiancée is Nicole Brydon Bloom, an actress best known for being on the second season of The Gilded Age. The couple were first spotted together at a Netflix party at Zero Bond back in February 2023. Since then, he has made a few appearances in her photo dumps on Instagram, and she was his date to Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup’s vow renewal. Rumors of their engagement began to swirl when she showed up to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’s Venice premiere wearing a huge diamond on her ring finger. That’ll do it!

Shortly after their appearance on the carpet, People confirmed that the couple got engaged while in Italy. This will be Theroux’s second marriage; he was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 to 2018. At the premiere, Theroux told the tabloid that he and Bloom would be “vacationing a little” after the event. I would hope so. You can’t pop the question to a woman and then make her go to your work function without the promise of a Mediterranean vacation afterward.
