PAL offers ‘lowest fares of the year’ in new promo
MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is offering its “lowest fares of the year” until September 20.
In statement on Friday, August 30, the country’s flagship airline launched its “Ultimate Seat Sale” promo, where travelers can book flights with base fares as low as $73 for roundtrip international travel and as cheap as P209 for a one-way domestic flight.
The travel period for the promo begins on August 30 onwards, but PAL has specific dates set out for each destination.
“Travel seasonality, blackout dates, and terms and conditions apply,” PAL said.
The airline also noted that “quoted fares includes taxes, fees, and surcharges except Philippine travel tax which is added at the passenger’s option during or after the booking.”
As of writing, a one-way economy supersaver flight from Manila to Cebu on November 1 starts at P1,519. When broken down, the base fare costs P489, fuel surcharge and global taxes total P688, and taxes, fees, and P342 covering taxes, fees, and charges.
The cheapest international roundtrip flight is to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam from September 11 to September 25, with prices starting at $132.
PAL said travelers can book their flights either through the PAL website or mobile app, but they can also coordinate with ticketing officers and travel agent partners – Rappler.com
