With the arrival of a cold front, showers and storms move across northeast Kansas late this evening into the overnight hours. Some storms could be on the stronger side with some gusty winds. The rain continues into early Friday morning and it leaves us with a cool-down. Highs on Friday will likely reach the lower 80s.
Over the weekend, expect lots of sunshine and even drier air. Highs will top out in the middle 80s on Saturday and Sunday. However, another cold front slides through and drops highs into the upper 70s for Labor Day.
