Saratoga's Own: Crafters Gallery
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A local shop in business for 30 years promises to make your snapshot of summer at the track stand out from the crowd.
Walk inside Crafters Gallery on Caroline Street, and you'll find an assortment of trinkets, home decor and artwork fit for the biggest track fans.
"Crafters Gallery has always been about featuring unique local artisans," said Christina Lowes, the owner.
Beyond their gallery of gifts you'll see a rainbow of custom frames. "You name it, we frame it," Lowes said. "A lot of times people are looking to frame something Saratoga related."
Lowes helps with showcasing the racing memorabilia like jockey silks and saddle blankets. She is involved in every aspect of the custom framing, from cutting the mat and selecting the frame to mounting the art work.
"Choosing the right frame for the piece is really important because it brings that piece to life," she added. "Most people are just blown away at how much their piece comes to life."
