During your average game, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Fever, is already packed to the brim with star power. From forward Aliyah Boston and guard Kelsey Mitchell to rookie WNBA phenom Caitlin Clark, the arena’s no stranger to once-in-a-generation talent. But on Wednesday night, two additional GOATs happened to be on hand to cheer the team to an 84-80 victory over the Connecticut Sun. Fresh off dominant performances at the Paris Olympics, gold medalists Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas stopped by for their first ever WNBA game. As you can imagine, the Fever players were visibly stoked to meet the Olympians, and vice versa. “EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS,” Biles tweeted after meeting the basketball players. “So happy to be able to go support! My first of many WNBA games ????????.”

Not that Clark ever needs a lucky charm to put on a show, having Biles and Thomas in the crowd certainly can’t hurt, considering the triumphant 22-year-old broke yet another record that evening: Making her 86th three-pointer of the season, the guard officially surpassed Rhyne Howard as the league’s leading rookie three-point scorer. No biggie! I’d be inspired to break records too if I knew three-time Olympian and 11-time Olympic medalist Biles was cheering me on.

After the game, the Fever players took turns hugging and taking photos with Biles and Thomas. “They were so excited, oh my God. It’s, like, usually the boy will just pass and be like ‘Yup,’” Biles told broadcasters, per People. “But they were so excited. That was so cool.” I’m having a hard time imagining anyone walking by the most decorated gymnast in history and saying only “yup,” but men really are weird sometimes. Regardless, I’m sure this won’t be the last time we’ll see these two powerhouses courtside at a WNBA game. It really is a great time to be a fan of women’s sports.
