Thrilled with her bathroom’s renovation, Kirstie CM took to social media to share a before and after look at the space, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On A Budget Official, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Kirstie shared snaps of the bathroom, which was once very tired and dated.
But now, thanks to Kirstie’s DIY overhaul, the space is super stunning and very on trend.
Alongside the post, Kirstie penned: “£40 paint and cheap accessories to transfer the guest bathroom.
“Halfway there – but not bad on a budget.”
Kirstie confirmed that to give the space a new lease of life, she first of all cleaned the walls with a sugar soap.
Then she used a Frenchic matte paint to add colour to the space.
The DIY enthusiast confirmed that she didn’t use a top coat or a sealant, as she claimed: “I suppose you could but I’ve never needed it.”
She explained: “I used brushes, only as it’s personal preference. But you could use a mini roller and a brush for grooves if painting tiles.”
She also revealed that she nabbed a variety of her stylish accessories, including her mirror, from Matalan.
What was once a very dull space has been given an epic glow up – and thanks to the black paint and floating shelves, is super trendy.
