More than 4,000 athletes with physical, visual and intellectual impairments are competing in 22 sports for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Summer Games. Organizers say more than 2 million of the 2.8 million tickets have been sold for the wide array of Paralympic events. Even though the Paralympic movement continues to advance and evolve, Paralympic Gold Medalist Richard Whitehead MBE asserts that "there is still a long way to go with accessibility." He wholeheartedly insists that "seeing is believing, and you need to see that it is possible in disability sport."
