Club Now Just One Step Away From Tottenham Hotspur Star

Real Betis are now one step away from signing Tottenham’s out-of-favour midfielder Giovani Lo Celso in a deal which includes a preferential sale option in favour of the London-based club for Johnny Cardoso in the future.

The Lilywhites have already offloaded a number of fringe players this summer and more could follow in the coming hours.

Argentinian midfielder Lo Celso has been deemed surplus to requirement by manager Ange Postecolgou, though the London-based club are still looking for a prospective buyer for him.

Multiple clubs have knocked at Tottenham’s door for Lo Celso, among whom are La Liga side Real Betis.

Now, according to Spanish daily Marca, Manuel Pellegrini’s side are just one step away from signing Lo Celso.

That is not all though, with Betis also proposing to give Tottenham a preferential option if they want to sign Johnny Cardoso in the future.

Though the move has not been sealed yet things are progressing well and there is now optimism about getting it done.

Real Betis have been desperate to bring Lo Celso back and are now almost there with regards to doing so.
