West Ham’s Swoop For Carlos Soler Without Buy Option
West Ham and Paris Saint-Germain are close to finalising an agreement over a loan move for Carlos Soler with the deal not having any option or obligation to buy, according to journalist Duncan Castles.
West Ham have pursued a move for Soler for quite some time but their attempts have failed to bear fruit until recently.
In fact, an agreement is close to being finalised with the player having already arrived in England to undergo his medical.
The deal has been being discussed on the basis of an option or obligation to buy.
That is not the case now and West Ham’s deal for the 27-year-old will not have any such clause.
It will be just a simple loan deal and Soler will return to France at the end of the season.
It now remains to be seen how quickly the Hammers manage to announce the capture of the player.
West Ham have been one of the most active Premier League teams this summer and Soler’s move will add to their transfer activity.
