GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio (WCMH) - A restaurant chain with several locations across the country that's known for its Korean donuts is opening a new location in central Ohio.
Mochinut is opening its newest shop in Grandview Heights at 994 W. 5th Ave., according to the company website. The bakery is opening inside of the former location of Mainstream Boutique, which closed in 2022.
The shop menu features a variety of treats including mochi donuts, ranging in different flavors from strawberry, coffee, banana milk and chocolate, to ube, taro, black sesame and matcha. The restaurant also features Korean rice flour hotdogs, some covered in potato pieces, hot Cheeto, crunch cereal and more.

Mochinut also has a selection of beverages including Boba tea, coffee, peach mango, grapefruit orange and cherry berry flavored drinks. The chain also has soft serve ice cream that customers can get in a cup or cone.
It's unclear when the new shop will open to customers. According to the company website, the location is listed with a photo saying "coming soon." Mochinut only has one other Ohio location at 26161 Detroit Rd. in Westlake.
