Oklahoma County jury convicts two men of child sex crimes
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma County District Attorney's Offices says two men were convicted on child sex crime charges earlier this week.
On Tuesday, an Oklahoma County jury recommended a life sentence for 32-year-old Christopher Geesey after finding him guilty of five counts involving inappropriate sexual acts with a family member's toddler. Geesey was formally charged back in March on counts including manufacturing child pornography and first degree rape.
The jury also recommended Geesey pay a $45,000 fine. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 15.
An Oklahoma County jury found 43-year-old Darrell Thompson guilty on four counts including first degree rape on Thursday. Thompson was charged in April after police found he was having inappropriate sexual contact with a female family member.
