Pundits and coaches come out with new phrases so they sound like they know stuff. Then once a phrase or mystical new position makes its way in to "modern terminology" any one who questions it is labelled as out of touch or old fashioned etc, when basically FA has changed.
High Press, Low block, inverted winger, false 9. Just new terms for positions and style of play that have always been there.
It is what it is and no doubt something new will be on its way very soon to try and impress us.
