Vadodara's record rains have submerged MSU's archaeology department cellar, possibly damaging 2,000-year-old terracotta statues of Lord Buddha. The statues, excavated from Devni Mori in 1963, were kept on a platform inside the cellar. The extent of the damage is yet to be determined.
