Charlotte Dawson hits back at cruel trolls after she’s slammed for ‘taking back’ Matt Sarsfield
CHARLOTTE Dawson has clapped back at cruel online trolls who slammed her for “taking back” her cheating fiance Matt Sarsfield.
The MTV star’s loved ones were “begging her to ditch” the rugby player after he was found to have been sending dirty texts to another woman last month.
Mum of two Charlotte, 31, was understandably left “blindsided and humiliated” and initially vowed she “refused to forgive” her man.
Yet after revealing she was pregnant with her third child just weeks after the scandal emerged, she secretly took her love-rat fiance back.
Shortly after, she told how she craved a fourth tot with the rugby player.
Yet her frank family admission has been met with a backlash – and the Ex On The Beach star has spoke out.
She uploaded an image showing her with her little boys to her Instagram page with the words: “A lovely pic I wanted to share of my boys and I turned into a negative.
“I just wanted to address a few things – a stupid comment about me ‘milking this.’
“Just to remember here, I’ve had my heart broken and been embarrassed publicly while growing my third child and trying to remain as calm as possible.”
She told how she always had a magazine deal planned to announce her latest arrival and put: “This was different to how it was meant to be.
“I wanted my fiance and baby-daddy in the shoot, it broke my heart he wasn’t.”
Charlotte told how she addressed her current crisis in the interview, published to OK! Magazine, and in the “safe place” of her podcast.
She then told: “If this had happened in private not one of you would have known about this.
“I can’t win I’d be getting slagged off if I wasn’t addressing it then I’m getting slagged off for addressing it.
“Another one saying I’m ‘hiding Matthew away’ – what do you all want?
“I don’t get it this is no publicity stunt, I wish it was.”

Here is her emotional statement in full.
In a message posted on Instagram she said: “I’ve had loads of messages regarding mine and Matthew’s relationship and I wanted to just be honest with all of you as I navigate through this.
“I was in complete shock and devastated.
“Whilst so many of you have been kind and caring, there have been a number of people that have said I’ve sold this story for money.
“This is completely fales and I would never do this to my family or myself.
“The story was sold by the girl and I have no idea who she is.
“I’m extremely hurt, upset and disappointed about the situation.
“It’s hard enough going through something like this in private, let alone publicly.
“My only focus right now is on my beautiful boys as they are my main priority.
“Thank you to everyone who has shared their love and support. It doesn’t go unnoticed.”
Charlotte, 31, has been engaged to her partner Matt Sarsfield since September 2020.
In her lengthy message Charlotte then urged her followers to be aware of her sons and said: “Things are a lot harder than simply walking away.”
She told how she hadn’t made a “100 per cent” decision on the family’s future and was taking it day by day.
She urged trolls to “unfollow her” if they didn’t like her content and said: “Go and slag me off elsewhere.”
The TV star, who is comedy legend Les Dawson’s daughter, vowed: “This is the last time I will explain myself, any nasty comments will get deleted and you will get blocked because I don’t ned the extra stress right now.
“But thank you for your nice and lovely comments, I love you all.
“Remember even if you don’t want to be, just be kind, it makes the world a lot better place.”
Last month, Charlotte vowed to “put her kids first” as she threw a lavish first birthday party for little boy Jude.
She is also mum to their son Noah.
