Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) jumped 5% to a day's high of Rs 4,925 following the Cabinet Committee on Security's approval of a Rs 26,000 crore deal for 240 AL-31 FP aero-engines. These engines will be supplied for Su-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) under the Buy (Indian) category.
