Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions editions, price, and how to play completely free
POTTERHEADS rejoice as a brand-new Quidditch video game is just about to release across most gaming platforms.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the first standalone attempt to simulate the magical sport in two decades, and some fans will be able to play it for free.
Unlike Quidditch in most other Harry Potter games, in Quidditch Champions you can play in any role.[/caption] The pitch looks just like you remember it from the Harry Potter films.[/caption]Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is releasing today, September 3, 2024, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version coming at a later date.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s price, editions and how to play it at no additional cost.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions editions and price
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions comes in two editions, Standard and Deluxe.
Standard includes just the base game with no extra items, and is selling for £24.99 / $29.99 across platforms.
The Deluxe Edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions includes four house packs with cosmetics, one for each Hogwarts house.
It also gives players 2,000 gold to spend in-game.
The game plus the extra cosmetics and gold will set you back £34.99 / $39.99, and here’s what exactly you get from each pack.

Quidditch Champions’ in-game gold can only be earned by playing the game and cannot be purchased with real-world money.
How to play Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions for free
PlayStation owners who have an active PS Plus subscription will be able to get the Standard Edition of Quidditch Champions at no additional cost.
The game is coming to Sony’s subscription service as a day-one release, meaning it will become available later today.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is being added as one of the three monthly games for September, so all PS Plus members, regardless of their subscription tier, will be able to claim it.
Once claimed, the game will stay in players’ libraries forever and will be playable as long as the respective PlayStation account has an active PS Plus membership.
If you have an active PS Plus membership, look for Quidditch Champions in the Monthly Games section of your subscription on PS4 and PS5.
If you don’t see the game yet, but you have the other two monthly offerings, Little Nightmares 2 and MLB The Show 24, just check back later today.
Quidditch fans who are also PS Plus members will have until September 30 to claim the game.
