THDC India has signed an agreement with the Maharashtra government to develop six pumped hydro power storage projects totaling 6,790 MW. The projects, with an investment of over Rs 33,600 crore, will involve surveys, investigations, and Detailed Project Reports. The Maharashtra government will assist in water allocation for these projects.
