Barron Trump’s university in New York revealed as he arrives with Secret Service agents
Ex-President Donald Trump’s son Barron Trump’s college of choice is no longer a mystery, as he was spotted going to classes flanked by Secret Service agents.
Barron, 18, wore a white collared shirt, dark pants with a belt and Adidas sneakers and walked alongside the security detail on Wednesday, photos obtained by the New York Post showed.
The former president’s youngest son held a black Swiss Gear backpack over his right shoulder as he traversed the campus on the streets of Manhattan for the start of classes.
Barron stopped at the dean’s office before going to a classroom, sources told the newspaper.
Trump revealed that his youngest son would be studying at the Stern School of Business.
‘He was accepted to a lot of colleges,’ the Republican nominee told the Daily Mail.
‘He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll be going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at NYU.’
Barron considered going to his father’s alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
‘I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn’t do that. We went for Stern,’ Trump said.
‘It’s a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school. We liked NYU. I’ve known NYU for a long time, but it’s one of the highest rated…’
Stern is a top business school in the US along with Wharton, which Trump’s two eldest children, Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump, attended.
Barron graduated from the private Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, close to the Trumps’ home at Mar-a-Lago.
His university selection had been kept under wraps, but speculation was that he would go to a campus in New York City since the Trumps have another home there at Trump Tower.
Barron’s dad confirmed a couple weeks ago to the New York Post that it would be a campus in the Big Apple. The former president seemed to suggest that Columbia University would be unlikely given the pro-Palestinian protests there recently.
Former First Lady Melania Trump further hinted at the decision with an X post with a photo of the city and the caption: ‘New York City captivated my heart the moment I arrived, 28 years ago today.
‘This electrifying town isn’t just my home; it’s a colorful canvas where dreams come alive. New York’s iconic skyline and vibrant culture inspire me every day.’
She will reportedly continue to watch over her son as he goes through college.
