Jindal Stainless has supplied high-strength stainless steel for the Vande Bharat sleeper coaches, enhancing performance, durability, and safety. The new material reduces coach weight by two tonnes, improving energy efficiency and aligning with sustainability goals. The first batch is set for dispatch in September 2024, with an official launch by December 2024.
