Under-19s hit six to go joint top of table

COLWYN BAY Under-19s made it three wins out of three, to go joint top of the FAW Reserve League North West with Llandudno Reserves and Llanwchllyn Reserves, with a 6-1 victory over Conwy Borough Reserves at the 4 Crosses Arena on Tuesday evening.

Paul Roberts’ young side led 3-1 at half-time with Nikola Georgiev giving them the lead on 19 minutes and Anthony Poole adding a second 15 minutes later.

Conwy pulled a goal back just before the break, but Colwyn Bay hit back within a minute for Anthony Poole to score his second of the night (3-1).

Owen Thomas made it 4-1 in the opening minute of the second half before Nikola Georgive netted his second on 57 minutes.

Owen Thomas then also added a second and Colwyn Bay’s sixth on 74 minutes for a convincing win.
