Dave Grohl Reveals He Fathered a Child Outside His Marriage

Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl got personal with fans today, posting a short note on his Instagram page revealing that he had recently fathered a child, but not with his wife.

"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," he wrote. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her." 

He went on to say that he still loves "my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness." He did not reveal the identity of the child's mother.

Grohl, 55, has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003 according to People; he had previously been married to photographer Jennifer Youngblood in the 1990s. He shares three daughters with Blum; Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15; and Ophelia Saint, 10.
