A major revamp of the Estonian National Library in Tallinn's Tõnismäe neighborhood has been ongoing since 2021, and in order for it to be completed on time, the library needs another €23.3 million in funding from the state. According to National Library director Martin Öövel, the cost of not making financial decisions is very high.
