Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has written to the Chief Ministers of eight states about the "unfair" tax devolution by the Union government. He invited them to a conclave in Bengaluru to discuss fiscal federalism, emphasizing that states with higher GSDP per capita are receiving disproportionately lower tax allocations.
