To the editor: Israel-Hamas conflict cause more complex

Ben Shapiro’s article (“Evil of cowardice,” Friday) simplifies the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by labeling Hamas as purely evil while ignoring the historical grievances of the Palestinian people, including decades of occupation.
