Watch Roger Federer ‘adopt the Djokovic lifestyle’ in bizarre new advert with James Bond star promoting Switzerland
ROGER FEDERER rolled around in leaves in a bizarre new advert encouraging people to visit Switzerland.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion appeared in the two-minute video alongside Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen – famous for his roles as Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal and Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royale.

It involved Mikkelsen going missing from shooting because he wants to “feel Swiss autumn” and “connect with nature”.
Mikkelsen plunges into open water, hugs a tree, drinks rain, eats grass and hangs from a tall branch, among other things.
As the actor then plays in the leaves, Federer begins to come around to Mikkelsen’s behaviour.
And when the James Bond star is finally ready to shoot, Federer then goes missing as Mikkelsen asks: “Wait, where is Roger?”
It cuts to Federer buried under a mountain of leaves as his head pokes out of the ground.
Mikkelsen, 58, approaches him and asks: “Roger, what are you doing?”
Before Federer smiles and adds: “You know.”

At the end of the advert it reads: “When you need to lose yourself in nature, you need Swiss autumn.”
Reacting to the advert, some fans compared him to long-time rival Novak Djokovic – who believes in holistic health, loves hiking, drinks “pyramid water”, has a special gluten-free diet, and meditates.
One social media user said: ” Federer with Mads Mikkelsen out in nature…Tree hugging… eating grass… cold plunging in natural water…is RF showcasing the Djokovic lifestyle ??”
Another added: “Federer seems to be really enjoying post-retirement life .”
While a third replied: “Mads, Roger, and Swiss. I could not ask for more.”
Federer, 41, was seen at the US Open earlier this month as he continues to soak in life post-tennis.
The iconic sportsman retired in 2022 as one of the greatest to play the game.
