Pontypridd confirm 2024/25 squad

Pontypridd’s 2024/25 Admiral Premiership campaign is now just a few days away and ahead of the team’s opening match against Bargoed this Saturday, we can now confirm our squad that will lead us into the new season.

Pre-season proved to be an extremely fruitful period for Ponty’s coaching and management team – five matches allowing ample opportunities for them to run their eyes over a number of trialists, many of whom really impressed.

As a result, we can confirm that the make-up of our squad is as follows:

BACKS –

Back Three: Dale Stuckey, George Thorrington, Jude Williams, Edd Thomas, Jac Argyle, Joe Davies, Louis Rochefort-Shugar, Oli Shepherd, Sam Hayman, Will Huggins.

Centres: Garyn Smith, Brandon Huntley, Charlie Morgan-Stephens, Ioan Evans, Stuart Floyd-Ellis, Ty Lewis.

Outside Halves: Jacob Symes, Jaydan Pugh, Sam Talbot

Scrum Halves: Joel Raikes, Lucus Welch, Joey Williams, Morgan Edwards.

FORWARDS –

Props: Ben Stephens, Morgan Bosanko, Garyn Daniel, Ben Drew, Dan Cotterell, Tom Fry, Kian Mattravers.

Hookers: Rob Jones, Iestyn Thomas, Jeff Young, Jack Walker, Dylan Kelly

Second Rows: Kristian Parker, Cole Parry, Mitch Barnard.

Back Rowers: Cally James, Joe Miles, Cai James, Lloyd Riley, Scott Bishop, Dylan John, Alex Georgiou.

Please note that many of the players above can play in other positions as well as the area they are listed in. As well as featuring throughout pre-season all of these players have trained with Pontypridd throughout the summer, and many will be affiliated to other clubs and playing for them throughout the coming season.

Over the coming months we will be re-booting our Player Microscope feature from a couple of seasons back with the aim of profiling many of the players that our supporters will be seeing donning the famous black and white throughout 2024/25.
