The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has launched a special drive to ensure the safety and quality of food items during the festive season. Food Safety Officers and Designated Officers are instructed to maintain strict surveillance over sweets, savouries, and dairy products to prevent adulteration practices that could harm consumers' health.
