Pedestrian hospitalized after Northeast Portland early Saturday morning crash
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash in the in the Woodlawn Neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Just before 3 a.m., Portland police officers responded to a reported crash in the 1700 block of North Lombard Street.
On arrival, they found a pedestrian injured. They were taken to the hospital with what officials believe to be life-threatening injuries.
The driver involved is being detained by police pending further investigation, authorities said.
Northeast Lombard Street is closed between Northeast 13th Avenue and Northeast 22nd Avenue was closed for the duration of the investigation.
