At 3:33pm CT, rain interrupted INDY NXT by Firestone qualifying (twice actually) after 9 of the 18 cars had completed their runs. INDYCAR had initially wanted to try and get the session finished, but at 4:19, they announced that the qualifying session would NOT be completed and the line-up will be set by entrant points,
