Prashant Kumar, a 34-year-old railway worker, allegedly molested a teenage girl on the Humsafar Express and was subsequently beaten by passengers. The post-mortem report showed extensive injuries and internal bleeding. He was declared dead during treatment. Despite this, his family has opted not to take legal action.
