Police have booked 50 people, including VHP leaders and former councillors, for violence during a protest demanding the demolition of an illegal mosque portion in Shimla. The protest turned violent with stone-pelting and clashes with police. Authorities are investigating further and have gathered evidence to identify more culprits.
