The Odisha government has initiated the 'Subhadra Swagat' padayatra to promote the upcoming 'Subhadra' yojana, set for launch by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. The scheme targets financial support for women, with around 60 lakh registrations so far. Beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,000 annually in two instalments over five years.
