PDP president Mehbooba Mufti stated that her party is contesting the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections not just for development but to prevent the BJP from sidelining the Kashmir issue and Article 370. She criticized the BJP for failing to hold elections in J&K over the past decade and promised transparent recruitment and employment opportunities if elected.
