More traffic cameras in Limassol starting Monday
Three new traffic cameras will be rolled out in Limassol starting Monday, at the Spyrou Kyprianou and Ayias Fylaxeos traffic lights.
According to a police announcement on Sunday, the aim is to reduce serious and deadly crashes and increase road safety.
Limassol currently has cameras at the following locations:
- intersection of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue with Despina and Nikos Pattihis Avenue and Archbishop Leontion A Avenue
- intersection of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Omonia Avenue
- intersection of Despina and Nikos Pattihis Avenue and Spyros Kyprianou Avenue
- intersection of 28th October Avenue and Iakovos Tombazis Avenue
- Crossing at King George I Avenue and Christakis Kranou Avenue
- Intersection of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue and Agia Zoni Avenue
- Crossing at Archbishop Makarios III Avenue and 28th October Avenue,
- Crossing at Amathus Avenue, opposite Arsinoe Hotel
- Crossing at Amathus Avenue and Ariadne Street
- Port Road
- Kato Polemidia
