The Circle star gives birth to first child with former Love Islander as she shares sweet snap
THE Circle’s Beth Dunlavey has given birth to her first child with former Love Islander Connagh Howard.
Beth, 33, and Connagh, 31 – who started dating in 2020 – shared the news with a sweet snap of them holding their son’s tiny feet on Instagram.
They captioned the post: “Welcome to the world, perfect precious boy. 21/08/24 .”
Beth, who shot to fame on Channel 4‘s The Circle in 2019, added on her Story: “So grateful for our strong miracle baby boy.
“Having to have you early means we get eight extra weeks with you precious.
“We love you so much x.”
The couple announced that they were expecting back in April after their heartbreaking fertility struggle.
Beth suffered with a difficult pregnancy and spent time in and out of hospital while carrying her son.
At the beginning of August she shared a health update after revealing she had been in hospital for 30 days – explaining that she needed surgery.
She told her followers: “Basically I’m a ticking time bomb and I’m going to need surgery after the baby is born.”
Beth revealed doctors found an abscess in her pelvis and didn’t know how much damage it has caused.
She was high risk and was not be allowed to leave hospital or “go anywhere”.
Weeks before the mum-to-be revealed she was “distressed” and rushed back to hospital.
Connagh and Beth started trying for a baby a year into dating, but failed to get pregnant.
Back in October 2023 the couple revealed that they were referred to a fertility clinic in 2022.
In March that year they were told that they had “unexplained fertility” and were offered IVF.
They shared the happy news that they were pregnant in April this year.
Beth wrote on Instagram: “Every injection, every tear, every procedure, every pain; every last inch of this journey has been worth it for you, and I’d do it 100 times over if I had to, we already love you so much.
“Our baby decided the time was right and we are over the moon to finally announce we are PREGNANT.”
Beth added: “*I know that not everyone’s journey looks like ours, and announcements like this are hard to see, I’ve been there and I see you.
“To those still waiting for their miracle, I send you all my love and hope. Don’t give up.”
Beth and Connagh started dating in early 2020 just before the coronavirus lockdown – and lived with Beth’s family during that period.
A year later they moved out into their own place.
They got engaged in December 2023.
Connagh took part in Love Island 2020 as a bombshell – and was linked to Shaughna Phillips.
Beth dated The Circle co-star Jack Quirk.
