Indian Ladder Farms closes kitchen after fire
ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Indian Ladder Farms has temporarily closed its kitchen operations after a fire on Saturday. The farm said the store's kitchen is inoperable from smoke damage and will remain closed for remediation.
Unfortunately, Indian Ladder Farm's doughnut production has stopped for the time being until the necessary repairs are made. The Apple Room, Apple Barn, Pizza Garden, Biergarten and Tasting Room, and pick-your-own services remain open.
No one was injured in the fire. Indian Ladder Farms Manager Laura Ten Eyck said they were disappointed with the interruption of kitchen services but grateful the damages were contained.
"We’re working hard to get everything back up and running as soon as possible," she said. "We appreciate your understanding during this time and look forward to welcoming you back to the Farm Store soon."
