Ricky Gervais loses dispute over replacing flooded mansion with £5m home

Ricky Gervais has reportedly been refused planning permission to demolish his existing three-bedroom home next to the River Thames, which has flooded at least five times since 1947, and replace it with a four-bedroom, neo-classical property.
