Josh Gad Explains Why He Regrets Using His Real Voice for Olaf in 'Frozen' Movies
Josh Gad wishes he could change one thing about his portrayal of Olaf in Frozen.
The 43-year-old actor has voiced the beloved snowman in Disney’s first Frozen movie, released in 2013, the 2019 sequel, and in several other projects.
During a recent appearance at Fan Expo Canada on Thursday (Sept. 12), Josh admitted that now regrets using his real voice for Olaf.
Keep reading to find out more…“If I could do it all over again, I would not have lent that snowman my voice. I would have created a different voice,” Josh said as seen in a video shared on TikTok.
Josh went on to explain that his voice is far too recognizable and he often gets stopped by young fans.
“It’s very weird being in a supermarket and having a little child go like this,” Josh said while demonstrating a slow head turn. “That was my first big mistake.”
However, Josh did say that he’s very appreciate of all the love from fans.
“I try to give it to them when I can,” Josh added.
