EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has named Spain's Teresa Ribera as the next antitrust commissioner and Estonia's Kaja Kallas for foreign policy. Lithuania's Andrius Kubilius will be the first defence commissioner. The new Commission will focus on prosperity, security, democracy, and competitiveness for the green transition and digitalisation.
