Kamala Harris’ Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff Is Using Her Unique Talent to Spread This Message

US Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, may have had to put a pause on some of her dreams, like her knitting club, but she’s still using her knitting talents to spread a very important message.

On Sept 17, Emhoff shared a time-lapse video of her knitting. She shared the video to her Instagram with the caption reading, “it’s national voter registration day. ⭐️ check your status ⭐️ register if you haven’t ⭐️ make sure your friends and family are registered ⭐️ make sure you have a voting plan.”

She added, “there is so much at risk for so many people/ your vote matters/ #harriswalz2024.”

In the time-lapse video, which has the song “Freedom” by Beyoncé (feat. Kendrick Lamar) playing in the background, we see Emhoff knitted the iconic design from the “I Voted” stickers as her new project. She did this to utilize her talents, and spread the message of voting in this election; and many are praising her for it.

In case you missed it, earlier this year, Emhoff announced in an Aug 29 video that she’d be pausing her knitting club until further notice, amid this very hectic time during the 2024 Presidential race. She did this to protect the members’ privacy and safety; however, her club may come back soon. It’s clear her love for this craft is still going strong, and we really love to see it.

And in a previous interview with Office Magazine, she talked about her goal with the club, proudly saying: “I want to teach as many people to knit as possible.”
